THE SOUTH OF LEBANON- HISTORY, FACTS AND LOVE FOR THIS SIDE OF LEBANON

THE SOUTH OF LEBANON- HISTORY, FACTS AND LOVE FOR THIS SIDE OF LEBANON
First , I believe that there's no places in lebanon better than another one because all the sides of Lebanon are dear to my heart, but each side of Lebanon has its own history and its own culture.
I write this article about the south of Lebanon because this is the side which has too often been the most in danger.
Indeed Lebanon went through several wars and conflicts espacially around the border shared with Israel.
Even after many UN resolutions, Israelis didn't hesitate to cross the border and occupied a lebanese territory, the Chebaa farms illegaly.
How can you protect your land if your "neighbor country" does not respect the laws and steal a part of your territory?
The south of Lebanon has always been able to protect itself, not in a pacific way though; maybe you can call it a "self-defence behavior" but to me , it did not solve anything.
The south needs protection and are fed up with the Israeli goverment always able to do everything it wants without being blamed .. I can understand that , but you know that Israel is stronger that Lebanon and violence plus hatred cause more and more violence and hatred from the other side. That is to say, violence has never been a solution, espacially to fight for justice and espacially in Lebanon.
There's another important point to stress on, there's a kind of segreagation between beirut and the south since beirut always had more " chance" to be improved and rehabilitated, thanks to rich people whereas the south has too often been forgotten.
Like a friend told me, how can you live when you're frustrated because of the unsafety and how can you live when you are suffering from the oppression of your ennemi.

Maybe you wonder why there are always conflicts between Isreal and Arabic countries: there's many reasons which I won't tell here, but the behaviour of Israel towards its neighbors has too often to do with stolen territories (like the waters of Golan for instance), and 'Israel's self-defence strategy' (like the pain and suffering given by Israel to palestinians)... it's too easy for someone to say 'I just defence myself' and sure instead of making negociations, they endeavor to fight to show their power.
Arabic countries are victims of the Isreali opppression and they 'defend themselves' too... just to say that there's no end to violence so how comes fighting all the time ( too much optimistic, human beings will always defend themselves like they do today).
Just think one minute how will be the world if there's was not any conflicts between Israelis and Arabic countries... That's what thought about Yasser Arafat and Itzak Rabin one day and it was going to work I think... hope we will be able to live peacefully with Israelis since because of their government the population is narrow-minded .
Last but not least, even though there's conflicts because of the Israeli's government (partly) it should never be an excuse to discriminate against Israelis because they are humain beings and they are just fed up as much as us not feeling safe in their own country.

Lebanon suffered too much because of the civil war, the Israeli occupations, the Syrian occupation and the western countries 's pressure. Lebanon shouldn't have suffered that much but even after all these hardship, the most part of Lebanon managed to recover its 'usual life' and the economy was not that bad, whereas in the south it has always been hard to live because the government does not care enough about this part of Lebanon.
The most important leader of the south of Lebanon is , sure, Nassrallah:
This man has always been able to fight against the ennemy when the government was not able to do so, Nassrallah built schools, hospitals and shelters for the southern population of Lebanon... that's why I'd just like to say that I consider this situation as a discrimination against the south by the government. And the country should not be segregated like that otherwise that's for sure we will always live through conflicts.
The situation of the south of lebanon after the war is still very hard for the population: there's all around you destroyed buildings to remember you the war, it's hard for children to go to school just thinking about their studies, the way children think changed too rapidly and people just suffered too much to live quietly.

I hope the south of lebanon will be able to live in peace forever and live as decently as the other populations of Lebanon because we are all lebanese and the most important is to help each others.

how is Lebanon's situation after the war

how is Lebanon's situation after the war
The situation of Lebanon after the war

There's no denying that it is very hard to get through such a situation: the population is in need and hoped after the war, politicians would have been more honest and would have set aside all the conflicts they had before between each others.
But one more time, lebanese politicians do not agree with each others and it's the same situation as before the war , the only thing which changed is that it's even harder for the population since they lost their hopes.
The population try to live as well as usual and scowl at what's happening between our politicians, the population may believe there'll be an improvement soon but the only thing they show us is what they request since the assassination of R.Hariri.
Actually everything started even before Rafic Hariri was assassiated but this death implied a new view of lebanon.
First , the withdrawal of Syrian troops, a new government with new government 's aims, and that's for sure a hope for the population to live freely.
It was a hard moment in lebanon and the population wanted to express itself and during this time politicians did their best to stress on their personnal aims : for instance , finding the truth about Hariri assassination or having good relationships with Syria.
They were so shared that they shared the population, they were all the time criticizing the way some other politicians wanted to govern in Lebanon.
Anyway the population was partly shared as much as politicians but on the other hand, they just thought of letting the politicians do their job without thinking about troubles.
The government which is composed of two sides, the majority (Siniora, Hariri, Geagea, Jomblatt) and Hezballah , Aoun (Nabih Berry is between the two).
They were still endeavouring to find out a solution about the Chebaa 's farm and the Isreali presence around the border , but as they couldn't solve those essentials troubles, Hezballah decide to imply the whole country in a war agains Israel.
Everybody knows what happened and the most important now is to know how the population can manage itself if the government keep on having the same behaviour as before the war.
Joblessness, hopeless people , hesitations to remain in Lebanon, unsafety, people still wondering how they can live that way whereas overseas , life may be easier than in Lebanon...
That's how the population is living in Lebanon and they are just hoping the government will be able to get through all those internal troubles once and for all.
Berry wants to gather all the parties for a discussion about what they have to do to improve the situation, and as usual some politicians agree , some others do not agree at all: I just hope it will not prevent them from solving just some of the troubles which block Lebanon.
Be united to build a better Lebanon, that way lebanese people will have more hopes in their country and will not regret to go back to their beloved country.
Be united to be able to give more jobs, to give a future to lebanese people, to give them what they need .
Is it that hard to make such improvements come true?
Is it hard to make Lebanon safe?
A lot of lebanese people talk more or less about politics, being more or less implied in it, maybe a majority of them do not understand politics and me neither;
Actually it's politicians' job to understand politics, lebanese people , inside or outside Lebanon love their country, think about Lebanon when they hear patriotic song.
The population try to live but the politicians have to be able to improve Lebanon's situation otherwise, what for do we need such a government.
Politicians,Just show us that we can find a hope in Lebanon and all of us will recover happiness coming back to our land.
